upcoming foodsoft 3.2.0 release

Hi everyone,

A year has passed since the last 3.1.1 foodsoft release. With all the changes that have happened in the past months, I think it's time for a new release - #196. This allows us to make sure everything works and polish it a bit. And allows new and existing foodcoops to install/upgrade a working version.

So, I'd like to ask help to
  • finish translations (I'm proposing to ship: en + de, nl, fr)
  • review texts & translations
  • fix remaining cleanups/bugs
  • testing, testing, testing
    • make sure all screens and functionality (still) works
    • check that there are no missing texts ("translation missing" notices)
    • that changes in the user-interface are understandable by existing users of foodsoft

What about doing this in a couple of weeks? Then we'd have a release before the end of the year.
Let me know!

Best,
- Willem

p.s. After that, I propose to upgrade to Rails4 in foodsoft 4.0, and add more features in 4.1 and later.

Sounds good to me.
There are definitely some small changes I could make in the English translation, although for the most part it's wonderfully translated.

Another issue I noticed was that in the article view, the supplier shows up as blank.  Ill double check and then try to submit it.  Is there a reason it's called an article rather than a product?  I like it.  It's less consumerist, and it forces members to think about things differently.

Thanks. Please feel free to make any changes in localeapp directly -
http://www.localeapp.com/projects/4867 . Any changes you make there are
live on https://foodsoft-translation.herokuapp.com/ (test instance
especially for translation). I can add you as a developer so that you
have access to the English strings.
Or just mail them to this list, so we can change them, that's fine too.

Please do.

Little things matter :) And if you have suggestions on that area, please
share.
