Hi everyone,

Thanks for joining, Patrick, André and Julius.
Please find my short notes and action points below.

General

• figure out with Sense.Lab (Julius)

• paying bills
• ask if we can publically post account number

Technical setup

• would be good to keep foodcoops.net setup in sync with austrian setup, use same conventions
  
• database prefix: fs_ or foodsoft_ - check database name length
  
• use app.foodcoops.info as url until foodcoops.net is transitioned
• revisit support and foodcoops-global mailing lists
• check if we can use nabble anyway
• check mail server, e.g. outgoing smtp (Julius)
• Debian base system
• ssh key authentication
• sudo for root

Mail to users

• timetable
• getting netcup server may take some days (worst case 2 weeks)
• setting up server takes an hour
• setup new foodcoop as a test
• migration with phpmysqladmin etc. (Patrick)
• 1st december we would be ready
• contact Benni with end date
• volunteers who want to help out in docs and functional support
• explain support (did we mention this?)
  

Payments

Two models (both have been observed in practice working well):

1. we ask donations when the bills are due and keep asking when needed
2. specify minimum amount/period, invite to pay more if wanted

Support

• Distinguish between technical support and functional help provided by other users. Mention this: nabble is for help, support@ for tech.
• Would be good to have users lists in different languages.
• Setup foodsoft-discuss lists in -nl and -de. Prefer en.
• From Foodsoft footer, link to page describing how support works.
• Add section to new foodcoops.net with support.

Documentation

• something non-technical can start writing
• multi-language
• we don't know yet what technology suits here
• ask for volunteers, a team can form
• integrate contact person into Foodsoft? Then all can see who is in touch.
